Happy 4 th Birthday to Patti Sue and Ruben’s SHREK BABIES Doris/Shelby (Dennis lives with her) Fifi/Phoebe, Fiona/Blanch, Lillian/Kailani, Felicia, Shrek/Fergus, Donkey/Trek, Farkle/Beau and Fergus/Gus!! Wonderful babies!!! All those Patti and Ruben babies are so funny, such adorable personalities!!
Grace and I went to the vet again, they did tests to send to Michigan State Vet hospital, we are waiting for results for our next step. We are determined to find and fix the problem that has been preventing us from getting babies.
I’ve been wondering why this issue requires a vet school and came to the conclusion that “breeders” would discard Grace and get a dog that could easily reproduce they wouldn’t spend any money, time or energy to resolve the problem. Grace is my beloved pet, she is a combination of twenty years of almost all the dogs our family has loved. It is really important to me that she has babies 😍😘

I think Patty/Ivy is enjoying her visit with us. She loves her mother and the pups. She romps with RENE and is more comfortable with Grace although she gets scolded by her if she gets too rough with the babies. We have to watch her at the park she intentionally tramples them😳we can see her build speed toward her intended target. When we holler her name she veers off KNOWING she should not proceed with her plan to ” hit and run” the babies stay close to trees for cover. We wish it was a little colder so we could go more often😍

Happy SIXTH BIRTHDAY to NICOLE and Jack’s Christmas babies Claus, Noel/Brady, Kringle/Cosmo, Jingle/Maurice, Comet/Bix, Donner/Fuji, Prancer, Bell/Bella, Carol/Annabel, Dancer/Sadie and Evie/Bessie! Wow Harlee has changed so fast! Just six short years!! Nicki had such fun babies (DOTTIE) they LOVE the ball and are such devoted pets! I adore JoDee, she is so much like her sweet mother. I am so enjoying the three baby girls, they do and go whatever/ where ever the big dogs do so they are no trouble other than getting up at 5:30am for their chicken gizzards😳 They love their big sister Patty/Ivy and she adores especially loves her full baby sister JoDee, it is so fun to watch them play☺️

These puppies have the cutest faces!! Maybe I think that because I love DOTTIES face and expressions and so many of them look like her😍 but honestly I don’t think I’m THAT bias😉 Big sister Patty/Ivy slept by my head. What a sweetie she is. She was so glad to see Harlee and cuddled with her until she went home. Dottie and RENE are jealous😊they push their way in but Ivy holds her position☺️ We all picked Harlee up at school, pups don’t mind the car and these short trips are really good for them, she loves the BIG WELCOME she gets😘

We are baby sitting Patty/Ivy over Christmas vacation, what a sweetie she is! Her mom Dottie seems to really enjoy having her here. Here baby sisters aren’t so sure about her yet although she tries to engage them in play, another day or so and they will be tearing around together! I hate this 45 degrees, ground is a muddy mess so they are limited on where I will let them play😉colder weather in the forecast!! I want 30’s

Another beautiful DOTTIE and WALLY baby! It’s Dorothy/Bridgette and she is adorable!! DOTTIE babies have a different attitude somehow they think they are special, they demand royal treatment. So sweet and very loving, they throughly enjoy pampering. JoDee is just precious!! I love her bouncy happy personality. She loves Harlee and the adult dogs. So cute how she positions herself front and center☺️

My sweet sweet Parris is 11 today😭how I hate their birthdays, it reminds me of an hour glass with the sand running through WAY TO FAST, speeding toward the day I am forced to say goodbye. I honestly try to push that from my mind but looking into those loving cloudy eyes is a constant reminder😩what a good dog she is, never been any trouble, so loving and eager to please. That doesn’t mean she is without any unique “parris isms” like cramming her head between your legs, pretending she has to go outside so she can flop on the floor for so private lovin ( so smart). If you leave her in the car unattended for even a moment she will DO SOMETHING to punish you, like sitting your just purchased beverage on the SEAT😳you quickly learn not to leave anything in reach no matter if it something a dog would NEVER touch or not haha. STINKER!! No matter, WE LOVE HER!!

Well I must say that these two have faces I can’t resist 😍😙and grace has Ruben’s hilarious expressions that allow you to know exactly what she’s thinking! Her mother cleans her eyes every day and she knows better than to resist so she complies with the “help me please” look on her face. They both make me laugh every day! Pups are doing great. Another car ride today to take Harlee to her friends house for the night. They ride really well 😊

The babies took a ride with me to get Harlee from school. They weren’t thrilled but as I have fewer pups we haul them all over. We treat every pup like we’re going to keep them so as they get older they merge with their new family easily. We went to the park for an hour and they loved the fenced two acres chasing Harlee and the adult dogs! They were pretty tired when we got home!!

Bonnie LOVED this little girl (me too she was so darn cute) stayed on her lap the entire visit! They will be such good friends!! Bonnie always loved Harlee too so it’s so perfect that she got her own little girl!
I took Grace to the vet today to start the process of finding out why she didn’t have babies. Several years ago Parris did this same thing, appeared pregnant then poof half way through the babies were gone. We took her to Michigan State Vet hospital and they treated her for a cyst on her ovaries and fluid in her uterus (I had forgot that part) she went on to have three healthy litters and no further problems. Today when the vet did an ultra sound Grace she had fluid in her uterus and a cyst on one ovary!! Same as Parris!! So now that we know what it is we can get it cleared up in time for her Feb/March heat!!! I sent him the vet records from Parris, which should be helpful!! YEAH! Honestly what are the odds of us having this twice with two unrelated girls? I wonder how common it is?
