January 10, 2015 Queen/Kenzie

2015/01/img_4185.jpgLook at Rene’s little cutie Queen/Kenzie. Her new family just adores her! Here’s what they sent me:Hi Barb!
I thought I would send you a few new pictures of Kenzie. She’s growing up so fast! We are loving her though, she’s a blast to have around.
I usually only have to get up once during the night with her now. Hooray! We haven’t had any potty accidents in weeks. She’s really adjusted well. She’s great for Vinny, our other dog. Together they like to gang up on the poor cat. Go figure.
It’s been freezing down here in Ohio, so she can’t stay outside long. She loves the snow though and was so excited to play in it the first time she experienced it here. Smile
Enjoy the pictures! She got to visit Knox yesterday, so I attached a picture of the two of them as well. They love each other. It’s so fun to watch them play. Knox is so gentle with her. He understands she’s just a little girl.

How I love hearing about our babies. Knox was our Martin from Lexie’s Duck Dynasty litter. Another loved baby!!❤
The weather is suppose to be better tomorrow! We are looking forward to a good romp at the park!!

January 9, 2015 Rosalie!!

2015/01/img_4173.jpgOur pretty Rosalie, litter mate to RENE and hopefully our next mom😊 Raina reminds me a lot of Rosalie and the funny thing is Raina LOVES Rosalie😍 she follows her and tries to kiss her. Rene loves her sister so much, she is so happy when she comes, she is clearly delighted, she has a spring in her step. She welcomes her mother, but it’s Her sister she’s happy to see. There is really nothing like litter mates😍

January 8 , 2015 Baby girls

2015/01/img_4165.jpgMy sweet baby girls, they are so much like their mothers that I adore! Perfect little pets, so eager to please, so affectionate!! Cold again today, 13 degrees but very windy. Hopefully the prediction is correct and next week will be warmer! We all need a good romp at the park!!

January 7, 2015 Raina

2015/01/img_4152.jpgRaina is going home with her great Aunt Flicka/Ginger (grandma Lexie’s older full sister) she will love living with another poodle and especially a relative! She goes home the 17 th😊 we will pamper and enjoy her until then!! We love it when we have repeat customers😍 since we don’t advertise we wait for folks who appreciate the importance of a baby that has been loved every minute of their lives. I know people have color preferences but there is a WHOLE LOT more to a puppy than their COLOR, it really annoys me when that is someone’s first criteria. The older the baby girls get the pickier I am about their new homes. I can’t let them go somewhere where they will be all alone all day, they would be so sad after being here with me and so many other poodles😫 they wouldn’t understand it. Poodles need people or another dog for company, especially a baby. I owe it to their mothers to fInd each baby the perfect home, no matter how long that takes😘

January 6, 2015 Gizzards!

2015/01/img_4148.jpgI cook meat for the babies so I can reduce the processed food they eat. Although I feed them decent kibble ( I don’t consider any good) I’d prefer they didn’t eat any. They love their meals and try to wait patiently while I get it ready, it’s so cute ( everything they do is cute) because their idea of patient is different from mine☺️ they get gizzards, heart, liver, tuna, yogurt, ground beef and turkey and eggs. They are happy babies😋

January 5, 2015 Fun with Harlee!

2015/01/img_4090.jpgThe babies love the days we have Harlee😀they are so excited to see her. They cry when she leaves the room. Her hair seems to be their favorite toy, she’s a very good sport about all the tugging haha
Still really cold!!

January 4, 2015 MORE SNOW

2015/01/img_4130.jpgMore snow but with it came 5 degrees and wind so we are not able to play at the park. Their feet just can’t take the cold ( and I can’t do 36 boots) so hopefully this cold snap won’t last long. They play in the yard for short periods but it’s not the same work out as a hour run over two acres. Harlee and I love the exercise too!
I need to take my beloved poodle tree down, I hate too I really enjoy looking at my extensive ornament collection. I did manage to add a few new ones this year (not many) some years you just can’t find any ( boo Hoo) . Pups are doing great, such good girls. I take them in the poo haul when ever I go. They really don’t object to anything, not even haircuts or blow dryer. Excellent babies from excellent parents!!

JANUARY 3, 2015 New snow!!

2015/01/img_4101.jpgThe dogs are really enjoying the new snow! They come in wet and zip around like crazy dogs running laps around the table haha. They go in and out, in and out. I certainly get my exercise. The babies let me sleep until SIX!! I wish I knew why they can sleep all night some nights but not others. I’ve started crating them in separate crates when I leave. They get a chewy and Kong to keep them busy. They love the crates when the doors are open, not so much when they can’t come and go as they please. It’s a process 🙂

JANUARY 2, 2015 Marcella Rene

2015/01/img_4078.jpgI love Rene’s new haircut, she looks so cute! Her bobbed ears are perfect for her face! It’s so darn hard to get good pictures of black pets! They never really show how beautiful they are!! Our poor coats take a beating! They tear them using them to slow down a speeding dog ( Grrr) they look like rags after a couple days ( boo hoo) going to get some snow! The dogs will love it!!

JANUARY 1, 2015 FUN at the park!

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/ca6/68713425/files/2015/01/img_4083.jpgHarlee has a jump rope that she had when Dennis was here. The pups love to drag that thing around and tug with it ( as Dennis did) they are exhausted when we get home. They miss Ivy, she really roughed them up and they liked that. I hope they get homes with other dogs, they have never been alone a minute and that seems to be the biggest adjustment for them.
