Happy Birthday to Poppy Lucille! She is six years old today! Such a happy girl in California with Pat and her daughter Pebbles/Rosie😍  It was a hard transition for all of us, but clearly best for her.  She is queen! A position she longed for and would never have here.  Babies are doing great, getting SO FAT😋 they don’t want the bottle which tells me nobody is hungry.  Eyes should open any time!! Our favorite day😉

 
Harlee is here and the babies love her cuddling.  She just melts when they SIGH 😍😘 Their little eyes are going to open in the next couple days, they start by coming unglued in the corners ( you can see a little shine) then some pop open, others continue to unstick.  At the same time (and like magic) their ears open up and legs are strong enough to walk not scoot.  One of my favorite puppy days😍😍

The babies family tree😍 years of wonderful loving pets.  So fun to see everybody together.  Margaret sent pictures of Wally’s mom and dad so both sets of grand parents are featured.  I’ll have to do this with all our babies, people love to see the family tree😍

We spent the day finishing up the wiring at the new house so we can get an electrical inspection.  I took everybody with me but Rene (who WAS NOT happy about being left behind to baby sit😳) Parris was very restless and has been in the bathroom since we got home.  At 12 years old I worry about everything she does that seems abnormal (sigh).  I’ve lost so many dogs over the last three years (Checkers, Jazz, Ruben, Francis and Reba) 😭😭😭sadly I knew I would have a house full of old dogs and accepted the fact that it was the price I’d pay for enjoying so many of similar ages.  That doesn’t make it any easier however😩 Nicole is 11 and Patti Sue ten next week.

Everybody doing great, babies are little butterballs, I’ve tried to bottle feed them but so far no one wants my milk, they like mom😋 we don’t want anybody hungry so we keep a close eye out, like babies they cry when they are hungry😩

 
Hahaha Grace just cracks me up. She wants SO MUCH to get in that bed with the babies (I don’t let her I’d never get her out, another week maybe before it won’t upset Rene so much).  She tries to get me to follow her so she can visit.  I sure hope Grace can have babies😩we go to a specialist in July to see if we can find and fix what’s a miss (Rosalie too) there are not many vets who know much about breeding, actual ” breeders” don’t mess with dogs that can’t have pups, they unload them and get somebody who can😢 Not US! It’s important to us to continue our fablous line of wonderful loving pets😍 so we won’t give up! We have lots of deposits to fill😃

Gus/Manny and his new dad😀 he had lots of supervisors but managed to have a very nice visit.  He is SO LOOKING FORWARD to the day his new baby can go home.  He lives about 20 miles away so he can see his baby often😀 I really like him, he thought Harlee was my daughter haha ( perhaps being polite) at any rate I enjoyed his error😊 

Both Harlee and the babies are enjoying their few days together, it is so good for them to be handled SO MUCH THIS LITTLE especially! It is her job to ensure the babies are comfortable on their back, she holds and cuddles them teaching them they are safe.  An important lesson in trust😍 

Lexie and Rosalie are still here, they love the park but miss Tom and Mindy, they will be happy to go back home😀 

We went to the vet today for check ups, tail docking and dew claws removed.  I called the vet first to verify they had had no cases of the dog flu, I actually thought I would skip this step if there was any danger.  I really don’t like long adult tails, I might actually change my mind if I saw them groomed in a style I like but so far not really.  Tails are hard to keep brushed out anyway to add that extra length that isn’t a Pom just doesn’t appeal to me ( I know it’s all the rage) very cute as babies, but as adults they look like doodles I think😕 like everything it’s personal preference. We leave them long enough to keep things on the coffee table haha
