It’s the task I hate, taking the babies to have their tails docked and dew claws removed.  I can’t stand to hear them cry so I drop them off and leave😕 The vet assures me it doesn’t hurt they are objecting to how they are being held😩At any rate I can’t stand to hear them.

On a fun note, Patty/Ivy and her poodle girl! I love that her skirt has her Ivy on it😀

I love bottle feeding the babies.  It ensures everybody gets plenty of food and plenty of handling.  They associate people and lots of food for a strong bond😍 Our babies do not have food issues, it never occurs to them they will be hungry so no need to protect their dish.  Some don’t want the bottle they get enough from mom so they won’t take it (act like you’re killing them) but as they grow they need more milk to fill them up and are happy to have extra meals😍

Sweet tolerant Dottie.  I gave her a bath and quick trim before her babies are due and although she was her compliant adorable self the look on her face says it all.  She is just a delight😀 We so enjoy her!

New babies are doing great, Rosalie is such a good mom but misses Tom, Mindy and her mother Lexie.  Won’t be long and we get more babies!!!

Harlee is on the job! And is she happy!! I go get her off the bus and bring her here for puppy love😀 She is already getting them used to being on their back😀 The pampering has begun😀

Well wasnt I surprised when Mindy called mildly frantic that Rosalie had had a baby in the yard😳 I was on my way to Grand Rapids but by the time I got there she’d had five adorable babies! 😀What a fabulous mix of both color and sexes!! We couldn’t have asked for any more variety than what she and Dennis gave us😀

In case case you don’t recognize me I’m the white poodle on the end😀 We went to BOO AT THE ZOO in Lansing today.  When we have babies we can’t be gone all day so it will be awhile before we can go visit the twins.  They’ll come and see us though😀 I’m going to get Rosalie tomorrow and a couple weeks of meat.  I won’t be able to leave again until all babies have presented themselves😀 Won’t be long now!!!

Poor Clint/Remy he injured a toenail and it refused to heal so the vet recommend they remove the toe.  Good idea I think since only ( there are a few occasional exceptions I’ve read) black dogs get toe cancer.😩

All’s well here.  Just anxiously awaiting the pups and tieing up loose ends so we can stay home and wait for babies😀Going to the zoo with the twins today, I doubt I can make it to their birthday party😩
