Of course such a classy lady would have a poodle but what surprised me was it was a phantom (Gaullie, named after Charles DeGaul) in all the old photographs of dogs, I’ve never seen a phantom ( rare to see a Parti unless a very old painting) American breeders wanted only solid colors and killed all pups that had any combination of colors. They were almost successful too until a breeder in Texas brought them back about 15 years ago. We love the unique colors, people still think they come in black and white ( because of dog shows) 😃
