The babies have a lot of mothers.😍 Grace stole the babies from Rosalie and Dottie stole them from Grace. The babies don’t care, they are happy to have lots of mothers😀 Everybody is doing great. They love the yard and cry to go out. 2nd amendment babies are learning to use the dog door. Teeth are coming in so Dottie ( and the real mothers) won’t be so eager to feed them. We are feeding them GOO four times a day to make sure they have maximum weight gain. We like little butterballs!!

June 2, 2016 **3 weeks old
Three weeks old already!! They have not shown significant improvement in eating GOO 😳 They even push the big babies in the bowl by crawling over them. Everybody is doing great, they go outside to potty and love being with the big dogs. Aunt Dottie ( 1/2 sister of Rene and Rosalie) refuses to leave them. She has nursed them so much she has milk. She has been with them 24 hours a day for four days. That will be over when they get teeth. No wonder the babies love other dogs, they have 7 mothers😍☺️
June 1, 2016 Blended family
Rosalie made the mistake of laying down (Rene knows better) and got most of the 19 babies for lunch☺️ They are doing very well together although I think it’s less work to feed them separate. The big babies were getting much neater really not needing to be washed up. But with the little babies crawling all over and pushing their faces into the goo, more clean up is required. I do love seeing them clean each other😀 What a difference a week makes!
Life without my precious Parris is sad.
May 31, 2016 litter mates
There is something so special about litter mates. Very much Like human twins I think. I never realized it until Trisha had the boys ( now 5) so connected😍 I really love it when babies get to stay together in Rene’s litter Ruger and Jerrit are staying together and in Rosalie’s litter Catelyn and Willa❤️❤️❤️❤️ Lucky pups☺️
Rene loves it when Rosalie comes to visit ( and always tries to leave with her) they share their babies, it’s so sweet. Such good moms we have😍😘❤️
May 30, 2016 Goo for litter 2
Always amusing and always a huge mess is GOO😳 I usually wait till three weeks but it was taking so long to bottle feed all ten I decided to see if they’d eat goo. I was half right, they wear more than they eat. Grace and Lyra do a good job cleaning them off. I so enjoy watching my girls mother babies that aren’t theirs. So sweet. The babies love other dogs because they had so many caretakers.
May 29, 2016 First haircut!
I love first haircuts 😍 Those adorable little faces get even cuter when you can see them😘 Being so young they are very compliant, every week ( next week front feet) they get a little more resistant. They are doing better eating and are playing with toys. So CUTE! I can’t stand it😍😍😍
May 28, 2016 More puppy socializing!
Our puppies love kids! Harlee makes sure of that! Schools almost out so she will be here with us most of the summer. She’s a good helper and loves all the puppy kisses😀Mindy, Tom and Lexie went home so Rosie is sad. Few more weeks and she can go too. Her sister Rene and the other girls here will be mom to them all once I blend the babies together. Gee the two months I have them goes fast😢
May 27, 2016 Puppy socializers
We do our best to expose the babies to everything here when they are little, so they are confident and well adjusted when going to their new homes. Grace and Lyra LOVE the babies😍 Grace begs to go see them, it’s so cute. I can’t wait for fall and her second litter. Even though I have Lyra I still want a brindle girl☺️ The plan is to co-own a Dottie & Horace boy as a husband for my Grace babies😀
Thanks to Mary and Doug (Savanah and Bentleys parents) I think I’ll have cement for the pavilion in a couple weeks!! I’m so excited!! I’d planned on doing this last year but didn’t have any extra money trying to build a house without borrowing money😕 So I’m not willing to wait anymore☺️
May 26, 2016 Pontoon ride!
The girls love boat rides😀 Lyra has fit right into our poodle family ( I should have kept her in the first place) she loves her mother and does SO MANY Grace things. Everybody adores her. I’m so glad I have Lyra kisses to mend my broken heart😢
Jay/Teddy is spending a few days with us and his visit didn’t start out too well😕 While chasing Lyra all over the park he got stung by bees and his eyes swelled almost shut. I gave him benedryl and put cold compresses on his eyes/nose and in a couple hours he was way better. We went for a pontoon ride and poor Teddy in the mad dash to get on the boat, got knocked off the dock and into the lake where he remained paralyzed unsure of what to do. Poor boy, I hope things improve so I can return him to Terry in one piece😬
May 25, 2016 Goo!!
Day two of eating from a bowl is usually worse😳 The first day they aren’t sure they like it, the second day they DIVE IN!! Thankfully after a few days they get better( but I’ve had some that never did😁).
We are trying to adjust to life without Parris. Everything reminds me she’s gone😭 First breakfast without Parris, first trip to the park without Parris, first pontoon ride without Parris. It’s a process 😥 She was pack leader so the girls miss her. We’re just sad and from past experience we’ll be that way for awhile😩
