A very painful day as I said goodbye to my beloved Parris😭 The vet called me yesterday and said she should be better after a month of the Cushing meds ( she isn’t) in looking at her last last tests he felt she had something else as well ( he suspected liver cancer) I was so hoping we had more time. Knowing there were no good days ahead I made the appointment 😭😭😭 As painful as the loss of a beloved pet is, they provide more smiles than tears. We have so many wonderful memories of Parris, always a perfect pet. She was my special girl who howled if we were apart😭 I hope she knows we’re not apart, she is here in my heart😭😭😭

Rosie is so proud of herself when she manages to get a ball. She won’t lay it down and stays clear of everybody to ensure she retains possession😀 When I told Mindy she wouldn’t give it up, I didn’t think she’d bring it home with her haha.

Harlee spent Sunday loving the babies. It is her job to make sure the babies are comfortable on their back. She takes her responsibility very seriously. This age is so sweet no teeth and love to cuddle😍

Beautiful weather and lots of good friends. Jeff brought his drone purchased especially to provide us with air coverage Jeff’s drone movie this was SO FUN! The dogs didn’t like it very much, I think they thought it was a giant bee😐

Our stud muffins Reggie (retired) Dennis and Wally were there.  People love to see the dad of their puppy😀 Jeff captured WALLY’s view of the reunion too The reunion from Wally’s view with a harness and go pro camera.  A fun time was had by all☺️😀😊

Fall reunion is Sept 10😀

Wally is just the best boy, a big love bug with his main concern being who’s going to pet me next. His babies have that same irresistible disposition 😍
We are ready for tomorrow’s festivities and looking forward to it. I’m still mad my pavilion isn’t complete ( started for that matter) but we will teter our chairs on the uneven ground like we always have and look forward to fall with cement and shade) We won’t have Parris, and the moms there the entire time Mindy will move them around about half way through. It’s too much for Parris (who has not improved) and the pups need to eat. Weather should be beautiful!!

OMG what little snugglers, and PUPPY BREATH!!! So cute I can hardly let them sleep. Grace waits till Rene goes outside then sneaks down to see them. She loves puppies and is really enjoying having Lyra back. Looks like she will be staying. We love her, she is delightfully like her mother. She will be enjoying her first poodle reunion Saturday.
Scarlett and Beemer adjusted to their new situation better than we could have hoped. Their new family is so happy to have them 😍❤️ A perfect match. So sad it was necessary😭😭
Parris is not doing any better. No energy, no appetite. Pretty much miserable. Sleeps unless we go to the park. It breaks my heart seeing her like this. I hope the test results reveal something different we can do, I’m not sure this is a long term course I’m willing to ask her to endure. I want my perky happy girl back😭 And at any rate the 13 year old version. She never wags, clearly not enjoying her days😭😭😭

Ruben’s litter mate Hershey now 12 1/2 years old. It was nice to hear how much his family loves him. I know exactly how they feel, Ruben was just the perfect boy❤️❤️ How we miss him😭 Those same knowing eyes that all his sibling seem to possess. 😍

Our first ride of 2016 and as always the girls love it. Lyra enjoyed it, her mother was a captive audience for puppy abuse☺️ Rosalie and Rene relaxed and soaked in the warm breeze😀 Such good moms! The babies are getting so big! They will be off to their new homes before we know it!

We are almost ready for the reunion.  Our 7th one!!

OH my favorite day!! EVERYTHING seems to change on this day, suddenly they can walk and they want lovin!! They toddle over and put their head in your hand❤️❤️ They bark and growl it is so cute!! No way you can resist these adorable faces!!

Phantom is a rare and unique poodle color. There are lots of breeds with this color pattern (Doberman and Rottweiler for example)but few people know poodles come in these colors combination. I’ve seen the markings vary too with the entire head the lighter color. If you like unique, this is the color for you. Dennis and Rosalie have available phantoms. Lysa is going to look just like her sister ( Tyrion too😀)
I’m so mad! Two months ago I bought a metal roof so we could have shade for the reunions. You’d think two months would be plenty of time to get this done BUT NO!! We can’t get anybody to pour a pad of cement😡😡😡 I planned to have it in for Saturday but contractors won’t call back or don’t want a small easy job.
We’ve had this same problem with the new house, people don’t seem to need work😡 At any rate we’ll have fun without the pavilion
