We are getting ready for the poodle reunion May 21. The trailer I once hated is now a happy home for my kitties. I’m putting lattice around the bottom so they feel safe from the dogs when they don’t want to be inside. They are getting better about staying out of the fence ( they run to see me when I come) I’ve never had cats ( Tom thought 10 dogs was enough) so these sweet little animals are a real treat for me😍😍

I honestly can’t believe we got so many brindle babies from Grace and Dennis!! They are so fabulous!! I sure hope Grace gives me a brindle girl this fall ( although I’d be happy with a brown or brown & white parti like Moola). I wish I’d kept Lyra but didn’t want two black girls😕 This was better I get to see her and have two babies from Grace as her co- owner😀
12 days to go for Rene babies!! 20 days for Rosalie. We have lots of wonderful families waiting with us!!

Happy THIRD Birthday to Poppy and Reggie’s FRENCH names babies😀Cosette, Bridgette/Roxie, Clouseau/Louie and Armand/Fred ❤️ Poppy’s last babies😩 They were beauties and very amusing😀 Armand/Fred is the engineer of the famous “FRED SIZED HOLE” (that I’ve seen shared many times on Facebook and Pinterest😀 ) I really miss the Poppy babies, she was just THE BEST MOM, she loved having babies. I’m so glad she is with her baby Pebbles/Rosie and Pat. Nothing would make her happier than spending her life with one of her babies😀

Another beauty from Rene and Wally😀😘 Sugar/Rolo from the GLEE litter and her little human are best friends😍😍 Just 13 more days for more of these adorable pups😀 We can’t wait to see who we get!!
Parris had an all day test for CUSHINGS disease. She’s mad at me, hardly looked at me. She does not feel good, I can’t wait to get her results so we can start fixing whatever it is. After reading about CUSHINGS I’m sure that’s what it is. I’ve noticed she had a pot belly but dismissed it as age. She’s always been a good eater so I didn’t notice increased appetite. It was the drinking and peeing that was new, so hopefully we are early in the illness and it can be managed with medication. She has no energy and sleeps, however if we are going in the car she springs to life😕 They sure are good at hiding how rotten they feel.

what a fabulous boy! Love his markings😀 He is so loved, just like we like it😍😍😍 I have my fingers crossed for more babies just like him!! Rene and Wally have such a wide variety of wonderful colors, the waiting is murder ( 2 more weeks) their personalities are delightful😀 We think we have the BEST BABIES😀

Took Parris to the vet today for excessive drinking and peeing. I thought she had diabetes but the tests showed her sugar levels are fine. The good news is her heart, liver and kidneys are good!! Wednesday she goes back for an all day CUSHINGS Test. CUSHINGS disease is the reverse of ADDISONS. ADDISONS the adrenal gland produces little or no cortisol which regulates the body’s sugar and salt. In CUSHINGS the body produces too much cortisol ( usually a tumor on the gland). Thankfully medication reduces the tumor and all is well. At 13 parts start to fail, if she has to have something, I’m thankful it’s something that can be fixed. All day at the vet tomorrow will be hard on her, she can hear or see so she gets scared when she’s away from me😢 My poor baby girl. I’ll go get her the second they are done with her to minimize her stress.

The sisters are showing off their babies bumps😀😍❤️ Rene has 17 days to go, Rosalie has 25☺️ We can’t hardly wait!! They really pop out quick and seem to get bigger by the minute😀 We feed our pregnant moms really well (meat) making sure the developing babies get the best nutrition😍 After born we bottle feed to make sure nobody is hungry😘 We never have a ” runt” everybody about the same size😀 We’ve done this a long time and know exactly what makes wonderful healthy moms and pups😍😍😍

Moola/Nikolai gave me a smile when he saw me!! ❤️❤️❤️ we had such a fun play date!!

Rubles/Bentley is the cutest boy!! How he reminds me of his grandpa Ruben, just a big goofy sweetie❤️❤️
Sally/Fantasia is just precious, it was so good to see her. She certainly is a princess, so adorable!❤️❤️❤️ Jay/Teddy and Dave / Remi came too.  The weather was beautiful (almost a little too warm at 74) it was so relaxing visiting and watching the dogs play.  We can’t wait for the reunion just a month away😀

 

Happy 5th Birthday to Lexie and Jack’s GREASE LITTER!! Rizzo/Adelle, Frenchie/Lexie, Danny, Frankie, Eugene/Edison, Sonny/Cash and Kenicki/Rowlf❤️❤️❤️ What wonderful colors these babies were!! A little of everything. Rene and Rosalie ( both Lexie babies) have also given us fabulous colors!! I want one of each!!!

 

I am really going to miss our little visitor but his people were SO HAPPY to have him back😀 Dottie however got in the car and wouldn’t get out ( she NEVER gets in anyone’s car) didn’t want her baby to go ( she looks annoyed haha)😀 He’ll be back Saturday for a play date with sister Sally/Fantasia, Jay/Teddy and Moola/Nikolai 😀 We are looking forward to seeing everybody 😀😀😀
