Well Luke/Mac has discovered that eating a 2 inch rock is not a good idea. Poor boy needed extensive surgery and confined recuperation for two weeks ( every day that he feels better that will get harder to do) The sad part is dogs never learn from things like this ( in fact the vet suggested he wear a wire muzzle when outside😬 ) We hope he has a speedy recovery😘
I never did hear from Scarlett and Beemer’s family. I’m sure if they had needed my assistance I’d of heard from them ( I really hate to call and ask, seems tacky)Ive got my fingers crossed for good news for all of them.

LOL the dogs haven’t met the kitties and the kitties haven’t been introduced to the dogs. We think it wise to keep it that way, since even the sweetest dogs act diffent in a pack 😕
Dennis went home today, so did Rosalie and Lexie. Hopefully we have babies May 5 th and 12th. Lots of great colors!! So excited to get new babies!!

Adorable Dave/Remy came to see us today. What a cutie he is! We are babysitting him for two weeks during spring break while his family goes to Florida😀 We are looking forward to the reunion May 21st so we can see more of our babies!! Dennis goes home tomorrow after what we hope was a successful visit with Rosalie.  What great colors they had!! We are anxious for more!

I got the sad news yesterday that our retired studmuffin Jack had died suddenly. Cindy said he was fine, but suddenly had an episode that she felt was heart related (aneurysm perhaps dogs can get pretty much everything humans can get). She was too devastated to tell me much more. Jack was almost 11 so sadly the risk of losing them goes up 😭
Jack was the reason I have Patti Sue ( same father) and Trisha has his full sister Citori. I wanted the most unusual male I could find, he had several colors so we drove to Ohio to see him 😀 When I got there they had zillions of breeds all tied out to dog houses, they had six pups left, we took them all. I gave Trisha Citori, and Jack to Harlees mom ( Rehomed when he was two) I kept Patti Sue and found the other three wonderful homes. I later went back and rescued their mothers Jazz and Checkers. Jack was a wonderful boy, calm, sweet, affectionate and protective of his kids. He gave us wonderful babies with Nicole (Patriotic litter, Christmas litter and Fun parti’s) Lexie (Little Einstein’s and Grease) and Francis Claire ( Toy Story and Black’s). He will be missed especially by his four kids. They will remember him all their lives. Rip good boy, it was an honor giving you a piece of my heart😭

Dennis is here for a weekend rendezvous with Rosalie. He was raring to go so we went to the park for a good run😀 Grace isn’t in heat yet so they had a good time with the ball. Most of the snow is gone and it’s not too wet YEAH! That means we can go every day!

My adorable goofball Grace! She makes me laugh all day!! I needed it today, I had to take our little visitor to the shelter ( no kill thankfully) he bit Tom twice so he insisted😩 I know it was because he was scared, but he was pretty unpredictable with what alarmed him😭 He wouldn’t eat and I offered him lots different things, I hope his family finds him. He needs to get back home where he feels safe. I feel awful ( I can’t believe how fast I got attached to him) the girls are glad he’s gone, with two in heat they were confined to my bedroom. Dennis comes tomorrow so they’ll be back in lock up over the weekend. It’s crazy around here😳

We spotted this little guy in the road on the way home from Big Rapids, he had that unmistakeable look of a lost panicked pet😩 We stopped the car and I got out to see if I could get him out of the road. He gave me a wide birth, climbed in the car and curled on Toms lap. Poor little guy, so many new things but he’s doing really well. Dottie and Rene are in heat ( he’s not fixed) so the timing is not good. Add that to the Dennis visit Thursday and I’m hoping his people find us SOON. I’ve called all the vets in the area, the local shelter, I put up FOUND DOG signs at all the busy intersections. And posted him on Facebook. I’m sure somebody is really missing him ( he has good weight, his nails had recently been trimmed but no collar) I hope he wasn’t dumped off 😡people can be such jerks!

Wally is back home and we look forward to babies May 5. I’m anxious to see who we get, the first litter had lots of red and apricots, just one black and white pari, the second litter had lots of parti no reds and apricot. Same parents but the litters can be so different😀 We played at the park yesterday, Wally and Lexie were SO HAPPY to run, run, run😀 They all napped the rest of the day. They need that exercise and it does Us humans a lot of good too☺️

OMG I never dreamed I’d get brindle babies!! I sure hope Grace gives me a baby girl this fall☺️ I can’t wait to see his shorter hair!! He’s huge too, I expect him to be close to 100 lbs! These unique colors are very fun!!

And there is nothing as special as littermates❤️ Luke/Mac and Toby are so close ( like twins) Wally goes home tomorrow, he is such a good boy. Then Thursday Dennis will be here for a couple days. THEN we wait for BABIES!!!
