The bond between litter mates fascinates me, just like watching my little twin grandsons ( now almost five years old) they are so in sinc, even walk in step.  Nothing makes a puppy happier than going home with a sibling.  All the scary new things are better with a sibling.  I know there is advice that says DO NOT get littermates as they wont bond with you ( I think is the main reason) but in poodles that is just not true.  The enjoyment is unmeasurable 😘 These two handsome boys are Dottie and Wally’s COUNTRY SINGER BABIES Toby and Luke/Mac😀

My sweet Reba would have been 14 today😭How we miss her ( gone 11 long months) I was so happy when she turned 13😩 I hadn’t had a teenager in a long time but that darn leg was very painful for her.  Since dogs can take WAY more pain than they let on I was always worried about her quality of life.  When she didn’t want to get out of the truck to play at the park, I knew😭

We laugh at how NEEDY Rosalie is, pampered every minute of her life she is sure your only mission in life is to pet her😀 She’s showing us her baby bump just starting to emerge.  Little more than 3 weeks and we’ll have babies!!! She’ll be a good mom, she’s so sweet😘  Been a long time since we’ve had brown babies (a rare poodle color) WE’re counting the days to PUPPY BREATH!!

It’s a YES!!! He saw at least 8 babies on the Grace ultrasound.  We are SO EXCITED BUT THE WAIT is going to be murder!! We have been trying for a year and a half and it appears the problem was poor Horace had an enlarged prostrate.  Who would have ever guessed that at his young age.  Hope will make sure he’s in tip top shape for future breeding so.   I’m not taking any more Grace deposits, but am taking Rosalie ( Dark color babies I think) and Dottie ( red and white and black and white) all will give us fabulous colors, we love unique!!

I get Harlee off the bus a few times a week, we come to the park to play with the dogs and the kittens ( I took two of Harlees kittens that were at her moms house) it’s usually a little warmer and dryer by then so we have a good romp😀 Girls are always happy to see her.  Rosalie is getting a belly about a week early which usually means lots of babies.  I am SO GLAD we found this new vet in Grand Rapids. What a fabulous place, they do grooming, boarding, day care. Prices are reasonable and everyone SO NICE! If you’re in area you should try FAMILY FRIENDS VET HOSPITAL 6555 28th St 616.575.6520 Michigan State recommended them to my vet for reproductive services, turns out Rosalie ovulates late and we were giving up too early.  Grace goes tomorrow for an ultrasound to see if she has babies.  I honestly don’t know, one minute I think yes, then next minute no (sigh) I need to know😁 And the people who sent deposits are all eager to know!!! Stand by for NEWS!

Sugar/Rolo and her little human haha Love her “help me” look😀 What a beauty Rene and Wally’s GLEE baby is😀 All’s well here.  Fall is definitely setting in. I’ve been trying to go to the park a little later so grass isn’t so wet.  Girls need baths but between the park and the construction mess at the new house they will stay clean about 12 hours.  The best part of our daily swims! Sparkling clean pets!!😀

Wow does he look like his big sister Rene! He loves kids too, so happy when they visit😍 Martin/Knox was from Lexie and Wally’s DUCK DYNASTY LITTER.  They are so happy with their adorable boy they are adding a Dottie baby to their family.  Poodles are addicting!! And so much happier with a canine companion, it completes their world.  People who love and pamper them and another dog to fill their canine needs.

Although he looks so incredibly cute, Charley Bou is a naughty monkey😳 He counter cruises☺️  His great grandma was the slickest girl ever (Jazz) She ate several of our thawing dinners😁 As mad as that made me, it was the thing I missed most when she died😭 Dottie started it but I baited her with a huge pile of raw beef heart surrounded by two layers of mouse traps.  When I heard the snapping of the traps I was happy to see her horrified, running at full speed, tail tucked and a mouse trap stuck on her ear.  That was the end of her brief career as food thief😀

Happy dogs!! Sue/Maggie and Parris and Ruben’s ten year old baby YORK enjoying a run! He speeds ahead then looks back to see if she’s keeping up.  Two poodles are twice the fun! Time to harvest honey, then we will be moving the hives to Bill’s clover fields.  When we move I won’t have anywhere to perform this STICKY task or store all the stuff.  They will like it there, nothing better than clover honey!!

Our wonderful Rene😍 Such a good girl! She absolutely loves my son Tom, when they leave she darts out the door to go with them.  She does love mom Lexie and sister Rosalie but Tom has her heart.  She is so stoic it’s hard to know what she’s really feels, she’s like ROYALTY.  Her litter mate Rosalie is a goof, it always amazes me how different pups from the same parents can be ( having said that I’m reminded I am nothing like my siblings)😀
