Our York a Parris and Ruben baby 10 years old ( Francis litter mate) and Sue/Maggie.  What a happy girl she is and he is SO HAPPY to have another poodle companion!! We are getting so excited for the August heats! Our planned litters are Dottie and Wally, Rosalie and Dennis (vet discovered she had low thyroid so hopefully we will have success this time) and Gracie and Dennis.  Sadly Horace will be out of commission this round, so hopefully he will be available next round.  I won’t be taking any new Gracie deposits, as I have several from our past attempts BUT THIS TIME I’m confident we will be successful ☺️ I’m THRILLED!! Rosalie and Dennis should have phantoms, sables and solids.  Dottie and Wally will have red and white and black and white.  Grace and Dennis may surprise me but I’m hoping for some blacks and Browns!! Stay turned for our news!!

Its been so hot we haven’t gone to the park ( other than to water flowers) but we are planning to spend the night here shortly.  We love our sleepovers in our little club house doing projects and watching old sci fi movies.  Dogs love it to☺️ Tomorrow I’ve been retired from AT&T THREE YEARS☺️ It’s been fabulous!! And I’ve been so busy😀I often ask myself when I had time to work!!

Ninety degrees at 7 pm so we stopped on our pontoon ride to cool off😀 this weather has been something, no wind and high humidity, much different from last year that didn’t get close to 80. All the swimming makes for sparkling clean dogs☺️

FRANCIS AND JACK’s TOY STORY BABIES are FIVE Today! Andy/Beau, Rex/Slick, Buzz/Roger, Barbie/Lacy, Jessie/ Bella, Bo Peep and Bonnie!! Such wonderful pups! How we miss their mother😭

Swimming at home today😀 they don’t care where they get wet😀 what a fun summer this has been.  Great weather and getting quite a bit done on the new house.  We work about 4 hours ( Tom hurt his back, that’s all he’s good for) then play the rest of the day. Life is good😊

I really do do think dogs are happier if you have two, they are pack animals and it completes their world.  Mothers and daughters are especially sweet😍 Lexie and Rosalie went back home after a few days at poodle summer camp😊 Mindy said they slept for two days.  Good exercise for them!

We we love the sandbar if we get there around 11 we are the only ones there!! Rene makes Nicki nuts, she only wants the ball Nicki has.  Nicki takes it pretty well actually but at 11 ( couple weeks) she hasn’t slowed down much😀 and if up for a good game of tug of war.  I’m thinking that may have to her seven pulled teeth earlier this summer😳

Patti Sue (ten years old) doesn’t chase the ball, she loves to swim along side the paddle boat or kayak.  On the sand bar she fishes😊 she is just the most adorable girl!  MY precious Parris who will be 13 years old later this year has good days and bad days.  Some days she’s a little ball of fire chasing the ball, leaping and jumping, other days she just watches.  I’m grateful for the good days and wish I knew what prompts her down days.  She eats good, doesn’t throw up or have diarrhea so taking her to the vet is kind of a waste😢 with no symptoms its simply guessing.  As long as there are more good days than bad, I guess I’ll be happy with that.

No sandbar today, too many people on the weekend.  Saturday there were about forty boats and a zillion people enjoying the lake so we swam at home.  The sandbar is especially fun because of the energy they burn running through the water.  Add that to a boat ride and they are happy pups! Perfect summer so far!!

Beauties ALL OF THEM!  Look at Ron/ Liev’s beautiful eyes! Poppy was THE BEST mother, she really enjoyed her babies😍 even lightly nipping a few visitors to remind them they needed permission to hold her babies.  She’s a fun girl, we miss her antics!
