Hahaha these pups certainly enjoy their Texas life😃 Jamie/Smokey and Earl/Charley Bo cousins ( their mothers are sisters) 😃 We enjoy photos of our babies in their new life☺️ All’s well here, we got a new yard in and have been moving things out of the big house so we can get it listed (agh so much stuff/crap😬) We’ve lived there 19 years and purging is not my strong suit so I have lots of work to do to get settled in a smaller house😩 The saga continues😉

There is no place Lexie would rather be than on Tom’s lap (as evident by her face☺️) Poodles are so devoted, people who have never had a poodle don’t realize the connection 😍 I’m glad they are a well kept secret, breeders would ruin them if they were more popular 😕

Of course such a classy lady would have a poodle but what surprised me was it was a phantom (Gaullie, named after Charles DeGaul) in all the old photographs of dogs, I’ve never seen a phantom ( rare to see a Parti unless a very old painting) American breeders wanted only solid colors and killed all pups that had any combination of colors. They were almost successful too until a breeder in Texas brought them back about 15 years ago. We love the unique colors, people still think they come in black and white ( because of dog shows)  😃

My continuous effort to move my favorite plants to the new house is progressing☺️ Too bad it looks like crap while they get settled 😬 Usually I let the girls explore the yard but today I was in and out and didn’t want to keep track although they never go far from me.
Weather is getting colder at night which I’m happy about. Better sleeping weather😃

What beauties these babies grew up to be! And so sweet!! More Rene babies in the spring😃

This girl is such a goof, she makes me laugh every day. She loves her baby Lyra and anybody trying to play with her better beware. If she deems the play to rough she swoops in and protects her baby ( who no doubt was too rough first) after she runs off the offender she kisses Lyra. It’s adorable😘 Grace has her dads ROAR, and she loves to drop her chewy close to her ( baits them) and anybody who considers picking it up gets the lions roar warning haha she is beyond entertaining. Still anxiously waiting for heats I’m sure they’ll all start on the same day for maximum chaos😊

The new poodle pass time is kitty watch. Dottie and Nicki don’t care about the cats at all😃 But these four love a good chase( which we avoid to ward off disaster) yet they remain hopeful. Alone I don’t think they’d hurt them but as a pack of dogs they are no longer your beloved pet🙁
Good news from Nickis vet visit, a sprained toe she has some pain meds and already walking better. At 12 she’s not tearing around so will be easier to keep her quiet than Lyra😬

OMG THIS BABY IS TOO CUTE!! Walther/Knight from Rene and Wally’s second amendment litter. He’s the only baby we’ve ever had this color ( cafe au lait) 😘
Nicki has a serious limp I’m concerned about. We have a vet appt tomorrow. I don’t think she hurt it playing, at 12 years old playing is pretty mild. It must hurt she doesn’t put any weight on it😢 Poor girl, I’m hoping for the best.

Rene’s turn for Harlee hugs😍 The girls love it here, it’s so small we are their captive audience😂 We can’t see TV with all the dogs on our laps😜 Goofs! Weather has been nice ( when it’s not raining) I’m getting some things done around the park I hadn’t had time for. The kitties are all set for winter, they love the spot we made them in the trailer ( aka cat house) I built a wall so I could store stuff in the back of the trailer, they have a cozy spot up front. They like us here they get lots of lovin throughout the day😻

The girls miss Harlee now that summer is over. She usually joins us on the weekend for chocolate chip pancakes and 1950 science fiction movies😃 Oh and lots of poodle love😘 We are cleaning out her room at the big house today. Her dad is going to flip when he sees how much “stuff” we will be bringing to his house😂
