Dottie and Grace like the ball on a string we call it, I dont think they like the drama that surrounds the red ball (which Rene LOVES and creates) they happily bring it back together so proud of themselves! The trouble being it’s small and if they look at me and don’t see where it went I’M the one fetching it in the kayak! Only Reba, Patti Sue and Grace will swim with me I’ve lost all the dogs that loved to follow the kayak making my FB cover photo even more special 😥

We had a fun visit yesterday with the Goins family. They were passing through and asked if it was okay to stop by and meet us 🙂 SURE we love to show off our girls! We had a nice visit and the girls enjoyed some extra attention!! WE are enjoying the MOON PIES from Tennessee Stacy’s RIGHT they taste like Somores when nuked 20 seconds!

I think my favorite thing about poodles is their expressions! They are almost human in their admonishments 😀 Harlee’s here till Tuesday. Tomorrow we are having visitors from Tennessee they are passing through and wanted to meet us (friends of Reba/Ava)!! We are looking forward to it! The girls love company!!

Parris didn’t feel very good today, she played but not with her usual zeal. She’s been so perky it’s easy to notice the difference when she’s out of sorts. She’s eating good, not sure whats going on 😦 Rene is her usual exuberant self in the water. Like her mother Lexie SHE DIVES! AND never wants to come in. I’ve been having Nicole and Rene swim separate. Rene does not respect AGE, the ball is ALL she cares about and I can’t have disputes over the ball filtering into our every day life 😀 So is the life with a bunch of girls 🙂

White mailbox is done! I need to recharge the drill to finish the black one 😀 I’m pretty happy with how they turned out!! I’m selling them for $100 shipping included. This one is going to the Park 😀 We swam today after we got back from the park. They are exhausted and sleep the rest of the day! Pontoon is fixed when Tom gets home from the U.P. we can go get it!! YEAH!

My adorable baby girl, Reba! I love looking at the cute things she did that I was lucky enough to capture and enjoy over and over. She has been such a wonderful companion, I hope she lives forever! Weather has been great, cooler it’s perfect. I’m bored so I started poodle mailboxes. Hopefully I will have two done tomorrow. Not sure what to charge the ones I have found on line are $165 (mine are cuter!) I can’t imagine paying that no matter how bad I want one, I actually make this stuff because it’s either hard to find or too expensive. Stand by for the big reveal!

We’ve had the baby girls in the car so much they enjoy going where ever I haul them off to. Highness starts off in the back seat but ends up in the front. What an elegant girl she is, I can’t get enough of her beautiful face! Today’s trip was JoDee’s ( photo below) vet visit for health check up and rabie shot so she can fly to her new home tomorrow. Then to get Harlee off the bus and off to the park for our mile run. We keep em busy so they sleep all night😉

Reba is so special. I enjoy this old girl so much 😀 She runs and plays like a puppy. She’s noisy enjoying every minute of play.
I went to Grand Rapids yesterday to get my co-op meat order. 400 lbs that has to last the summer since getting all that meat in hot weather makes me nervous. They love the variety and especially tripe (agh but everyones favorite)! SO good for them!! We brought Harlee’s friend back with us so for the next few days I have giggling girls!

Dottie quit diving off the dock for awhile I’m glad she’s at it again, I love to see them jump! Nobody enjoys it as much as Dottie’s mother Nicole! How I miss Francis/GATERPOO (I bet Nicole doesn’t) she’d jump into the water and hide at the end of the dock positioning herself to nip the legs flying above her. It was so funny!
Hopefully you are thinking about the processed food you buy for your beloved pet and coming to the conclusion that if you want your friend to live a longer life you need to make some changes in their diet!! Betsy and Dan Hare thought so to (parents of Karen/Francis and Clouseau/Luey)and started to make their own dog food! The dogs did so well on it and loved it so much they decided to sell it!! Check out their website!!This is the fifth year we’ve fed a raw/cooked diet and I’m convinced it makes a HUGE difference in the health of the dog (and hopefully life span), you can see it in their coat and muscle tone (I’m on a mission). More and more dogs are getting cancer and autoimmune disease IT HAS TO BE THE crap in food, shots and flea & tick meds!! Do your own research on processed food IT’S CRAP it may keep your dog alive(and they are not required to accurately reveal what IS IN THE FOOD) but does not make them healthy! Check out the independent rating of your food, even if your food gets a decent rating wouldn’t ingredients you can pronounce be a better choice??

Another fun day in the lake! I love how the girls dive, it’s so funny and they are so proud of themselves haha. It’s hard to wear them out, they are in such good shape from running at the park and swimming. Even the old girls can play and play!!
Harlee and her friend will be here tomorrow. I need to go to Grand Rapids to get my co-op meat order so grandpa is going to entertain them for awhile. I think it’s going to rain so we won’t be sleeping at the park 😦 wet dogs and muddy feet are not fun to sleep with :0
