I just love Brando’s markings!! I really like his light face better than a mask. Phantoms are so unique! Hopefully Rosalie will have some of these beauties 🙂 he sure loves his little girl!
Much cooler weather today, the park was much more enjoyable with a jacket. It’s going to be a warm weekend. Harlee and I are going to my nieces wedding Saturday then back home to play with the dogs and do yard work getting ready for the spring REUNION!! JOIN US it’s May 31st noon to four! Bring a dish to pass. Go to the Mecosta county senior center 12954 80th ave 49332. Turn east on 13 mile, go a couple miles. Turn north on 60th ave we are 3/4 mile on the east side of the road (you’ll see signs) .

ADORABLE BABY GIRL Miss Kay/Chardonnay!! She is a pampered LOVED girl (as she should be!) Our weather is finally nice. We go to the park early so the girls (including me) don’t get too hot. I was a little worried about Reba today. She didn’t have her usual spark 😦 we went home a little earlier than usual because I was worried about her. Lately she wakes me up panting (no one else is) which is a way they deal with pain. She’s eating good, I just fear (you know how paranoid I am) that my time with her is growing short. Thirteen years is NOT long enough.
My mom came home from the hospital but she did not return with her usual “starch” she is pretty resign to the idea that she needs to go to assisted living. I have grown so attached to her old girls that I tear up just thinking about having to put them to sleep. Sadly I think my mom is okay with it, I think she wants them waiting for her. End of life is very sad 😥

Look what Cosette (Poppy and Reggie baby) and Holly/Maya (Dottie & Wally baby) can do!! Cosette really didn’t like it but refused to let Maya show her up haha. Poodles will do pretty much anything you want. Such fun pets, they really DON’T know they are dogs and I’M NOT going to tell them 🙂

From Lexie and Wally’s DUCK DYNASTY LITTER is the FABULOUS Silas/Whitman! Wow he is stunning!! 55lbs at 6 months. His family adores him! Finally some really nice weather!! We did yard work all day! I even got a pink face!! Yeah summer!!

Our Jazz babies are nine today 😥 Citori (Lexie and Izzie’s mom) and Jack (dad to lots of our wonderful babies). I REALLY hate birthdays. I learned from Francis how a happy healthy dog can be gone in an instant with no reason why. It actually makes me nuts, every morning I expect my precious Reba to be gone in her sleep (she’s almost 13). I lay there and try to hear her breathing before I move. Sadly it’s a matter of time. In the mean time I enjoy every day we have together. My mom came home but sadly the starch is out of her, I expect she can’t live alone anymore which means bad news for her poor old dogs (and me).

What a handsome boy!! Lexie and Elliot’s baby Jasper from the TWILIGHT litter!! He and his sisters Rene (getting the kiss in the top photo) and Rosalie were TWO yesterday!!  Wonderful unique color!! AND SUCH cute personalities!! It’s so fun to see our babies grown up! Sleep over at the park tonight!! We all have such a good time! Popcorn, old sifi movies and LOTS of poodle love! Life is good!

Our pretty girls and future moms turn TWO!! Such fun girls! Both will have babies this fall! We plan to breed Rosalie with a brown and cream phantom boy in Lansing and Rene maybe Wally 🙂 Black makes red darker so it will be fun to see who we get! Will be a busy fall with babies since we didn’t get any this spring! Grace will meet with Horace again around September YEAH!! So exciting!! I’m VERY low on puppy breath!

A NEW TOY!! Harlee loves playing ball with the dogs.  It took the girls a few minutes to figure out that it launches a BALL but when they did they anxiously waited for Harlee to get the thing ready haha.  The “chuck it” is MUCH faster but everybody enjoyed playing with something new.  Finally we are getting some better weather, cold but at least it’s not raining!! We have plans for a Saturday night sleep over after we visit the twins!!

Happy SECOND birthday to our stud muffin WALLY!! What an adorable boy he is SO SWEET! And he passed that on to every baby!! We are so excited about his and Dottie’s second litter!! The first babies were FABULOUS!! Beauty and brains!!

Things are settling down here. Tomorrow is my brother in laws memorial.  He donated his body to science so no funeral.  What a nice thing to do but I need to be careful to not think about it too much :0  Bill and Harlee are staying here until he can rent something close to Harlee’s school in Morley.  We are working through the huge task of an inventory of everything lost in the fire. My mom now has a bacterial  infection she got from the hospital so they are still working hard to kill her.  She went in almost three weeks ago because she took too much medicine on an empty stomach and was dehydrated, since them they have almost killed her with morphine (for arthrits pain REALLY????), missed a dose of meds and gave her double!!! Operated on her for a bowel blockage caused BY THE MORPHINE and NOW a bacterial infection! She needs to come home before they are successful in their quest to terminate someone 86! Although three trips a day to her house to care for her two little dogs is a pain I really do like her old girls.  Annie is a carin terrier (12 years) needs two insulin shots a day and Kimmie a badly abused sheltie (10 years) after almost 3 weeks we still can’t pet her.  She is SO happy to see us, she spins and sneezes but won’t come close to us.  Breaks my heart. I’ll never find them new homes and frankly it might be kinder not to, what a stressful transition at their age.  I hope my mom comes home to let them finish out their lives in their happy home 😥

Happy Birthday Patti Sue

My precious Patti Sue (sigh) turns NINE today!! I hate birthdays! They remind me time is getting short.  Boo HOO HOO breaks my heart I’ll be facing days in the future without my wonderful friends.  Four of my girls are older than nine 😥

If you are going to reunion (and I hope you are) the GPS directions to the park will get you lost.  Use the address for the senior center 12954 80th ave mecosta michigan49332.  Turn on 13 mile.  60th Ave is on the North side of the road we are 3/4 mile on east side of road (you’ll see reunion sign) if coming from M66 turn by Chippewa Hills high school (address is 3226 Arthur Rd turns into 13 mile road) 60th Ave has sign before turning.  Noon to four. Bring a dish to pass.   Campers welcome!!  Come join the fun!!
