Every two weeks I make a trip to Grand Rapids to get fresh meat for the dogs (40-50 lb boxes) I order a couple hundred lbs at a time, repackage it in 3 day portions and freeze it, thawing as needed. I stop in Sparta and pick up Mindy we go to lunch and whirlwind shopping then back home to package meat. Lexie and Rosalie are always happy to see me, sometimes I even get a smile😃 Rosalie is in heat but she gets to rest up this time with more of her fabulous babies in the spring😃😃

Another beauty from Rene and Dennis😃 She has bee mothers beautiful face and coat like velvet!! Our little beauties are getting so big😃 I’ve been taking advantage of the nice fall like weather to do some yard work at the new house, we moved so much dirt it can’t wait, every rain produces a new wash 😡 The girls love sitting outside and watching me although they lay on my newly planted plants, a small price to pay for such good company😘

 

Harlee got her first deer😃 I personally don’t see what’s fun about killing something (unless it poses a danger, I have shot a porcupine trying to get in the dog fence) but to each their own. It was a long shot 140 yards ( Bill does have her practice so she does wound) she was so proud of herself😃 As she should be at 11😃 I don’t agree with youth hunt, I think it’s too easy to get a big deer making real hunting season too hard ( our country’s everybody gets a prize mentality) some things shouldn’t be easy like shooting unsuspecting bucks that aren’t aware of a new season😕 Hunting families hunt and teach their kids. Skiing people ski, golfing people golf etc you don’t need a special season for kids, they’d hunt anyway. ☺️ My rant

How I miss this boy but I know he is loved and pampered with his new family😃 As much as I enjoy having babies longer, it’s harder on all of us😢
Tiny house living is more fun without rain😬 Lyra still being a baby wants to play😃 She drags her mother all over by her collar and bites ( yanks on) back legs to engage in play. They bounce off the couches and leap over the back😃 Patti sue and Nicki look at me like really you let them act like that in here? I do, I love watching them play.

Meanwhile on the work site Lyra gets bored and entertains herself shredding our shims😐Little goof still a baby 10 months but so very good😊I can leave her out when I leave a she never bothers anything. The new house is on 1.75 acres ( long and skinny) they love to run the length of it and always stay in our yard. The public boat launch is next door with people coming and going all day, they never bark. Just watch. People smile and wave, I don’t think they can believe how good 6 poodles can be😀

When I got Dennis it never occurred to me we would get brindle babies. I knew he had a lot of colors in his pedigree and his legs are brindle but as far as I knew my girls couldn’t produce brindle😕 What a surprise when both Rosalie and Grace had that fabulous color😃 We are looking forward to more of these beauties in November 😃

Its not a kitty they are after but their beloved ball😊 They love it here, I’m a captive audience☺️ The kitties are sitting by the door in the morning and I feed them to keep them inside their “cat house” so I can get them inside the fence without drama. In the afternoon the cats watch the dogs play, blending is going better than I expected😃 I’d like to think my sweet girls wouldn’t hurt them, but a pack of dogs act very different than a couple of dogs.  Best  to avoid a castrophe in the first place😕

Stunning if I do say so myself😍 Both our boys Earl/ Charley and Jamie/Smokey their mothers (Rene and Rosalie) are litter mates😃 What beautiful babies they have😃 So sweet and loving❤️❤️We will have more of these babies in the spring😃

Flynn/Fleury and Cameo/Belle didn’t make it to the reunion but they still had fun at their lake! GLEE babies from Rene and Wally😃 We are back to work on the new house, drywall upstairs is almost done. Next is a kitchen sink and we can get a occupancy permit. I actually like staying here at the park, if I had internet and a shower it would be perfect😃 ( lots less to clean home is 4500 sq feet) this has been good to help me think smaller☺️

Thanks to everybody that came out on a rainy day to join us for the fall reunion. 27 people 21 poodles😃 Patty, John and Sammi Sue came from Virginia and Dana, Brian and Reba/Ava came from New Jersey!! As always it was fun to see everybody and our poodle babies (Fozzie being the oldest at ten😢)

The SPRING REUNION 2017 will be May 20 FALL REUNION September 9 come join the fun😃
