In the afternoon when it’s especially hot the babies get Kongs with Frozen peanut butter and yogurt. Takes them longer to eat and must be refreshing. They sure know what I’m carrying and get so excited!! Biting is much better 😀 Although they were not as bad as some other litters. Like kids they need to know good manners😀 They haven’t gone potty in the house in weeks and the babies who have gone home have easily caught on to what door and where in the yard they need to go, so smart!! So eager to please!!

We had company today on the sandbar☺️ Max and Chase came with grandpa Doug. Harlee SO enjoys her shark suit. She gets lots of laughs and loves the attention. Chase had on a SHARK ZONE Tshirt haha. Remy loves the water and gets so excited when we get on the pontoon. Doesn’t take them long to settle into a new routine. He will be happy to be back home and center of attention I think😀 I can’t believe this heat😩 My babies can’t fly which really limits new home selection😕 Agh we are getting so attached to them😭 We never have babies this long.

We adore these babies, such lovers! They STOP what they’re doing to race to see us😍 Tyrion is HUGE 20 lbs at 10 weeks. His marking are fabulous his brown is brindle. He looks at me so lovingly I dread the day he leaves😭(But I hope it’s soon as we get more attached to each other😩) Jamie is a big boy too 17.5 lbs he loves both Harlee and I and goes back and forth between us. He is so laid back, happy to sit on our lap and soak up the love. We love his color and those expressive eyes😍
Ed is 15 lbs. He loves Harlee and is so so sweet😘 Being the smallest we have spoiled him rotton😉 Lysa (15.7 lbs) is so funny, she takes on the boys and gives them a run for their money. She is rare sable. Her dark hair will turn light( like her nose did) this color is so fun, a poodle like no one else has!! We would gladly keep any/all of them😀 ( I know, we say that about all our babies😜)

The dogs just love the lake. Remy had not been swimming before and really didn’t get the running in water action. It didn’t take him long to get wrapped up in the excitement and join in. They are exhausted after about 45 minutes and sleep the rest of the day😀 Sweet Patti Sue fishes and welcomes anybody that arrives☺️

I’m so happy Gunner has this wonderful family. I’m am so sad they needed a new best friend, as Patti Sue’s litter mate Kodak passed😭😭 As worried as I’ve been about Patti this news was extremely upsetting😭 The good news is Patti’s blood work is back to normal and the shots for her Spondylosis seems to be helping the strength in her back legs. We got her a ramp for the truck and are minimizing her trips up and down the stairs. She’s a happy girl always wagging❤️❤️

I love how poodles play, like no other breed😉 Non poodle people don’t understand, they think they are mean. Dave/Remy is having a good time, he and Lyra love being together😀
Babies are doing great, really growing. This heat makes flying them impossible🙁

We were quite a spectacle today on our pontoon ride😀 Nine poodles and a shark hahaha😂Dave/Remy is enjoying his visit. He and Lyra play non stop ( Gives Grace a break😀) We wear them out at the park which helps but by afternoon they get a second wind☺️

Grandma Lexie’s litter mate Bailey

Another baby starting her new life. We will miss this little water dog! She reminds us so much of her mother Rosalie😀 That is the fun part about puppies, your beloved pet lives on. It is so comforting having somebody related to the friend you love so much❤️
Dave/Remy is here for a visit. His family is on vacation and he’s staying here with us. He and Lyra have SO MUCH FUN. Can’t wait to see them in the water!

Joining her new family today is BB/Lilly baby sister to Waylon/Walt ( both Wally babies) she will love having kids to spoil her rotton😍And another poodle to play with!! She’s going to be a very happy girl😘 Brianne leaves us tomorrow. Our little pack of poo’s is getting smaller😢

This is how you keep dogs cool ( and yourself) in 91 degree weather. It’s been so hot I can’t fly pups to new homes and most people are not willing to drive 12 hours to get them. We certainly have some water dogs! Jamie stickers his head under water and lays in the pool. Lysa loves the hose. Ed and Brianne just want to be wet! The Rene babies can take it or leave it. Fun to see them enjoying themselves! We have been able to play on the sandbar pretty much all summer. We get there by 11 play for 45 minutes ( running in that shallow water is exhausting) then go to the new house and eat lunch on the porch. 😀
